The Few, The Proud and the Soon-to-be Dead:
Remembering the Lost Numbers Space Marines

The Saga of the 'Lost Numbers'

"Hatred is a living thing. Feed it and it will grow."
-Keldor Lurtz, Chapter Master of the 'Lost Numbers' Space Marines

Tracing it's beginnings during the Horus Heresy, the 'Last Children', as they were known then, was comprised of left-over units whose parent legion were either wiped out or turned traitor.

To lead this newly formed chapter, the Emperor dispatched Keldor Lurtz - a fanatic member of the Legio Custodes whose thrist for war rivals that of Angron, the fell primarch of the World Eaters - for none of his remaining 9 primarch wants to lead them. For who wants to associate themselves with those whose brothers betrayed them.

Nevertheless, the 'Last Children' fought well and hard for the Emperor and despite always being sent to the front lines as cannon fodders for the rest of the legion, which resulted to horrendous casualties by being shot at by both sides, they remained loyal to the Emperor and to his Imperium.

Months past, Horus was finally defeated and his traitor legion retreated to the warp. As the Emperor ascended to the Golden Throne, the 'Last Children', along with their leader, mysteriously disappeared. No one knows how and why they disappeared and quite frankly no one really cared.

Centuries past, the 'Last Children' were all but forgotten.

That is until the disastrous Badab War, where the Space Marine Chapter, the 'Lamenters', faced extinction at the hands of the Tyranids.

During the coarse of the war, there came reports of a group of space marines who mysteriously appears to help overwhelmed imperial forces only to be slaugthered after the fighting is over and then just as mysteriously vanish leaving behind only the destruction which they have caused. The report also say that these space marines have no strict uniform armour like the other space marine chapters but instead have a variety of patterns and colors on the shoulder panels of their black armour.

A vox recording recovered from one of these encounters managed to record the voice of one of these mysterious space marines; "We are the Lost Numbers. Loyal servants of the Emperor of Terra and his Imperium. Die...brother."

Lost Number Creed of War

Why do we kill Tau?
They're toys are better and we want them!

Why do we kill Necrons?
They're dead and should have stayed that way!

Why do we kill Eldars?
The Eye Of Terror is reason enough!

Why do we kill Orks?
They're asking for it!

Why do we kill the Traitors (CSM)?
By they're actions, we were condemned!

Why do we kill the creatures of the Warp?
They were there!

Why do we kill Tyranids?
They are the food the Emperor provided for us!

Why do we wish to destroy the Imperium?
They're loyalty no longer belongs to the Emperor!

Why do we serve the Emperor and his true servant, Keldor Lurtz?
They have given what other's deprived us...REDEMPTION!

War Cry:
"DRAG THEM DOWN SCREAMING!"

Personal Note:
They fought bravely, but lost badly.
They always stood they're ground, but were always overwhelmed.
Battle formations in 10 minutes, dead in 10 seconds.
May look bad-ass, but always get they're asses whooped.
They never won, all they do is lose.
So screw this, I'm converting to Warmachine.
