kumakain ng gulay, pumapatay ng mga masasamang pagong, hindinalulunod, nakakasakay sa mga dinosaurs, nakakapagbuga ng apoy,matinik sa tsiks, mayaman, maraming buhay, lumilipad, mabilis, bibo,kayang sumira ng hollow blocks gamit ang ulo at higit sa lahat,napapatay niya ang mga kalaban hindi dahil sa lakas ng katawan, ngunitdahil isa siyang astig na nilalang.

para sa akin, nagawa na ni mario ang lahat.

umakyat siya ng mga matatayog na bundok, nilusob niya ang mga hauntedhouse na puno ng impakto, inaabot niya ang ulap, nagsscuba diving,naninira ng mga kaharian. ginawa na niya ang mga pwede pang gawin ngibang mga characters sa laro.

hindi lang si mario ang nagsilbing inspirasyon at ang training ko sapaglalaro ng video games, pero kahit sa buhay, siya ang naging idoloko.



1) tinuruan ako ni mario kung paano magmahal.

baket ba parating hinahabol ni mario si koopa? isa lang naman talagaang dahilan, kinikidnap ni koopa ang kanyang minamahal, si princesstoadstool. taenang koopa yan, ano kayang gusto niya don sa babaengyon? di naman niya nirarape.. skwater, nagpapahabol lang talaga siyakay mario. pero ayon, si mario, ginagawa ang lahat para lang maligtasang kanyang minamahal.. kung walang pagmamahal si mario sa katawanniya, tae na, hinayaan na niyang mamatay o ma rape dati pa si princess toadstool. tinuruan ako ni mario na ganon dapat magmahal. kung mayroonkang taong iniibig, gagawin mo ang lahat, lulusubin mo ang kung anoman para sa kanya.

may nakukuha ba si mario sa princess pag naliligtas niya yon? wala.walang pera, walang buhay, walang extra stage. kiss lang. matapos anglagpas 20 na worlds at mga sampung stages bawat world, kiss lang angbinibigay sa kanya. pero sa tingin niyo ba nagrereklamo si mario?hindi. kasi ganon ang pagmamahal, dapat gawin mo ang lahat ng makakayamo, at wag kang umasa ng kapalit, wag ka umasa ng bayad. umibig ka ngparang hindi ka pa umiibig buong buhay mo, kung magmamahal ka na rin,mahalin mo na ng lubusan.

nagtiyatiyaga si mario para makakuha ng isang daang ginto. isang daangginto para sa isang buhay. pinagtiyatiyagaan niya ang pagkuha ng 100 lives doon sa isang stage na kailangan mo ng dalawang pagong. kunghindi niyo alam yon, kunin niyo nalang yung salita ko: MATAGAL YON. athindi lang basta basta nagagawa. ilang ulet kong ginawa yon para langmakuha ng tama. pero si mario, kahit ilang ulet, pagtiyatiyagaan niya,at sa pagtiyatiyaga niyang iyon, nakakuha siya ng maraming buhay.

3) pinakita niya sa akin ang totoong ibig sabihin ng brotherhood.

hindi masyadong halata sa game, kasi parati silang nagsasalit ngpagkakataon maglaro, pero nagpakita si mario ng matinding sense ngbrotherhood. napakita niya rin na nirerespeto niya ang kanyang kapatid.

kasi ganito ang storya niyan, si mario, kulay blue talaga dapat angcostume, diba red and blue siya? dapat pure blue lang yon. kaya lang,si luigi kasi, sobrang gusto ang green. nagpumilit si luigi na greendapat ang sa kanya.. hindi nakipagaway si mario, hindi siyanagpumilit, siya ang nagpalit ng kulay. ngayon, baket kailangan niyangmagpalit? kasi, alam nila ang ateneo lasalle rivalry, e ayaw ni mariosumalungat, kaya ginawa nalang niyang red, para sa mapua, at least NCAA,hindi UAAP!

ganon niya kamahal ang kanyang kapatid. sinasakripisyo niya ang gustoniyang kulay para lamang sa ikasasaya ni luigi.

5) dapat na maging tao tayo ng mundo.

The Iron Lich, Asphyxious

The Iron Lich is a fearful opponent. Once a druid, he sacrificed himself to Lord Toruk’s service, hurling his body into a volcano. Now, with a new body built by the Dragonfather himself, Asphyxious is the stuff of nightmares, and with just cause. High FOC, a variety of spells, powerful melee capabilities, and an interesting feat all serve to make him one of the most fielded Cryxian warcasters.

Asphyxious was once (and may still be) described as, “the other melee monster,” and is often compared to the Butcher in that aspect. With a MAT of 6, a P+S of 15, a DEF of 15, an ARM of 16, and 7 focus, it’s not hard to draw the connection. Throw in the fact that he has sustained attack, which means he only needs to hit once for all subsequent attacks to hit, his 2” reach, and his feat, which returns all his focus to him (see below for more detail), and the result is a Warcaster who simply shreds anything that gets close to him.

Few living things get close to Asphyxious, for one reason: he’s SCARY! The Lich counts as a Terrifying Entity, which means all living models that get within 3” of him have to make a CMD check or flee. Anything alive that does get close to him and dies helps him out, as he has Soul Cages, which lets him convert any souls within 2” to Focus points in the next round.

With all that being said, we now come to the meat of the Lich- his arcane power and his feat, Consuming Blight. Consuming Blight, does a POW 5 damage roll to everything in his control radius, and replenishes all his focus. Now, that first part might not sound to impressive, but the average infantry armor is 12-13, so rolls of 7 or 8 on 2d6 are all that’s needed to kill. It’s the second part of his feat that’s really a killer. Gaining all his focus back allows him to make 7 more melee attacks, which is deadly in it’s own right, or cast more spells, which can be just as deadly, or boost his armor at the end of a turn.

Last, but certainly not least, is his arcane ability. The Lich has a variety of support and offensive spells, all of which are potent. Parasite gives a target -3 ARM and boosts the Lich’s armor by 1. That’s good on it’s own, and when used in combination with Scything touch, which gives a model/unit +2 STR, you can quickly bring down even the heaviest of the heavy in one good charge. Spectral Leech allows to take focus away from the enemy caster next round, at a base cost of 3 to cast, plus 1 for every additional focus you wish to deny them. Shadow Wings allows Asphyxious to move 10”, ignoring free strikes, obstacles, and other terrain features, and then end his activation. Quite a useful spell for getting the Lich into a better spot to attack from next turn. Hellfire is a POW 14 attack that causes a living model to make a CMD check vs. fleeing. Iron Blight takes out d6 hull boxes on a warjack, for the low cost of 2 focus. As you may guess, that’s quite helpful against Khador and the Protectorate, who have quite a lot of hull boxes on their jacks. Last but not least is Breath of Corruption, which is an AoE attack that deals full damage to everyone in the blast radius, and corrodes them all. It also creates a cloud effect that remains in play for one round, corroding anything that moves into it.

Asphyxious’s main weaknesses are barely weaknesses at all. He’s relatively slow for Cryx (SPD 6). His DEF is only 15, so ranged attacks generally need a 10 or less to hit him, which is quite doable on 3 dice. He’s also a medium based model, which mean infantry don’t block LoS to him. At 78 points, he’s the equivalent of a light ‘jack in costs, but Cryx makes up for that with cheap ‘jacks and troops.

Overall, the Lich is one bad mofo, and woe be the army that runs into this monstrosity.
